Refurbishment and maintenance of the light rail project in Jerusalem

Reliable transportation infrastructure is built on people, expertise, and strong partnerships. DIUK, together with Zoko Mobility, part of the Zoko Group, is leading a significant project focused on the refurbishment and maintenance of the light rail operating in Jerusalem.

As part of the project, the vehicles undergo a comprehensive refurbishment process following years of intensive service.

This includes the replacement of key operational components alongside a thorough and rigorous testing program, aimed at ensuring the vehicles’ full readiness and their return to safe and reliable service for the passengers of Jerusalem.

The project is carried out for Cfir, the operator of the Jerusalem Light Rail, together with its operations and maintenance unit Lavi, which set particularly strict requirements for the project:

Safety above all, uncompromising quality, and high vehicle availability for public service.

The collaboration between DIUK and the Zoko Group brings together many years of professional experience in drivetrain systems, maintenance, and refurbishment within the transportation sector in general, and railway maintenance in particular.

It reflects the shared commitment of both companies to reliable transportation infrastructure and continuous service for the public. Even during challenging times, we continue to operate, lead complex projects, and provide professional solutions that support Israel’s transportation infrastructure.

With determination, responsibility, and together.
